The Bottom Line

Don’t Pay For Long-Term Subscriptions - Try For One Month First

The AI creative space moves at incredible speed. In 2026, we have already seen some landmark releases:

  1. Kling 3.0 launched with custom multi-frame and insane AI video outputs.

  2. Seedream 2.0 is being tested, showing some of the best cinematic AI videos we have ever seen, even matching professional standards.

  3. Runway 4.5 released image-to-video for their latest model.

The tools are also becoming closer in features, from native audio, music, dialogue and output quality hitting 1080p and beyond.

Due to the speed, attaching yourself to a specific tool may in fact keep you behind.

Being flexible is the absolute key here, and thus why I recommend staying month-to-month if you go down this path.

However, there are even more ways to be more efficient with your spending.

Here’s an example from Kling 3.0 and how good things have got:

Meet America’s Newest $1B Unicorn

A US startup just hit a $1 billion private valuation, joining billion-dollar private companies like SpaceX, OpenAI, and ByteDance. Unlike those other unicorns, you can invest.

Why all the interest? EnergyX’s patented tech can recover up to 3X more lithium than traditional methods. That's a big deal, as demand for lithium is expected to 5X current production levels by 2040. Today, they’re moving toward commercial production, tapping into 100,000+ acres of lithium deposits in Chile, a potential $1.1B annual revenue opportunity at projected market prices.

Right now, you can invest at this pivotal growth stage for $11/share. But only through February 26. Become an early-stage EnergyX shareholder before the deadline.

This is a paid advertisement for EnergyX Regulation A offering. Please read the offering circular at invest.energyx.com. Under Regulation A, a company may change its share price by up to 20% without requalifying the offering with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Consider Platforms Over Tools

PLATFORMS HAVE MULTIPLE TOOLS

It’s more cost-effective to have a single platform with multiple AI art and video tools.

You can of course pay for a specific tool, but that same price could give you access to a platform with more than just that one.

It is becoming more common now as well, even platforms like Adobe and Runway have started to introduce third-party models.

The best platforms have the following:

  1. Workflows: templated flows that combine multiple AI art and video tools together to get a desired result, these are fantastic as it shows initiative from the platform to use tools in a unique way.

  2. Fast Updates: the best platforms add new tools and features at rapid-speed to ensure you are always ahead.

  3. Great Customer Service: check their social media accounts. See how the company, and their employees, communicate and support the community - this is an indication for their care.

  4. Ease-to-Use: if you open a platform and you have no clue where to start, whether it’s a UI issue or complex setup, this may not be the platform for you.

  5. Tool Variety: access to all forms of creative tools, and the ability to use their full functionality. For example, it’s great having access to Runway for video creation, but without access to Runway Aleph (for video editing), there is a core functionality missing.

Here’s How To Assess A Platform

PRICE AND WHAT YOU GET

It’s a no brainer, but the cost of AI creative tools are rising and becoming more nuanced.

We have gone from free Pika and Midjourney on Discord to fully-fledged subscription tiers.

Each tool is different in how they price things, often using ‘tokens’ rather than giving the actual price.

Before paying, do an analysis of what is out there to find:

  1. Generation Limits: How many images can you realistically create on each tier, and the price differences. If it’s 100 images for the base model, and only a few $ more for unlimited, potentially the more costly one could be worth it.

  2. Feature Access: Do you get AI art, video, modification etc or does the tool split out the access to specific features into higher tiers. This could be a flag as other platforms may offer them at a cheaper price.

  3. Tool Access: Most Tools have API access to platforms, however not all platforms are fast to get the latest ones + all features. Have a look at their announcements, their social media accounts to gauge how they handle new models.

The One-Month Subscription Recommendation Still Matters

Try a platform first before committing for something longer. You may get more tools under one cost, but each platform is also waging their own battle against competitors.

See if the platform works for you, easy to access, meets your needs and lets you actually create visuals you want.

THANK YOU

A huge thank you everyone as we have surpassed 50 subscribers on Beehiiv, and your patience and understanding with the Ads have also given me a first payout here of $6 which means a lot.

I do content creation and AI education full time at the moment, and every bit of support means beyond the world for me.
