Quick Notes
Upscale Conf took place in SF last week at The Midway.
The epic couple day event saw creative enthusiasts and artists attend workshops, panels, hackathons and events.
Magnific announced the release of their Agents and MCP, creating new ways for artists to create faster with Gen-AI.
You can now access Magnific directly on Claude and ChatGPT.
All That Happened
Magnific MCP
The Magnific MCP has launched. You can now create AI art, video and other assets directly on Claude and ChatGPT.
This also saw the release of Agents!
Magnific Agents are project-focused.
This means you can chat and interact with an agent that is directly involved and aware of your project.
It will create images, assets and everything for you in bulk, save them into a project folder, but also directly build flows in Magnific Spaces for you.
This means you don’t need to create nodes or connect them yourself. The Magnific Agents will do this for you as you chat.
Magnific Flows
Magnific Flows are all about collaboration and speed.
Once you have built a workflow you like on Magnific Spaces, you can create Flows to use them faster as independent apps.
You can share these Flows as well with your clients or other creators.
Whether it’s something quick such as a thumbnail design, or something way more complex such as a brand guideline - Flows is a way for you to get to the end result faster.
The Power of Upscale
Upscale Conf is always an incredibly personal and beautiful event.
It’s centred on creativity, but the focus is on the people and artists who are there.
Some of the most outstanding presentations focused on very intimate topics that dive into the background of the artists who were there.
Culture and experience play so much in how we create, and Gen-AI has allowed a whole new wave of artists to emerge in a huge and fantastic way.
One of my standout presentations was by niceaunties who used her background of Singapore to create an entire universe based on the people she grew up with and continue to be around her.
We also saw the incredible Julien Durant and Techhalla take the workshop stage to present about their creative workflows for art and video.
Seeing how they use Magnific Spaces was absolutely awesome, and illustrated how these tools can be used in such a variety of different ways.
With so many more speakers, panelists and artists there it was an insane collision of talent and inspiration.
I’ve never felt more certain about the potential of Gen-AI creative tools.
My Presentation
I also spoke on the Magnific Stage with Gabriela Cardona from Hausu Media.

We spoke about the importance of education in the Gen-AI space, encouraging curiosity and transparency.
Gabriela showed off her latest feature films that have won numerous awards globally.
We discussed how Magnific Spaces helped us to go from concept to creation with powerful workflows.
