Quick Notes
Some pretty big changes have happened this week!
Adobe's CEO of 18 years just stepped down — and his exit statement was basically a love letter to AI
Netflix dropped ~$600M to acquire Ben Affleck's AI-powered studio, Artists Equity
Meta have bought ‘MoltBook’ a social media platform for bots!
AI Agents Are Reading Your Docs. Are You Ready?
Last month, 48% of visitors to documentation sites across Mintlify were AI agents—not humans.
Claude Code, Cursor, and other coding agents are becoming the actual customers reading your docs. And they read everything.
This changes what good documentation means. Humans skim and forgive gaps. Agents methodically check every endpoint, read every guide, and compare you against alternatives with zero fatigue.
Your docs aren't just helping users anymore—they're your product's first interview with the machines deciding whether to recommend you.
That means:
→ Clear schema markup so agents can parse your content
→ Real benchmarks, not marketing fluff
→ Open endpoints agents can actually test
→ Honest comparisons that emphasize strengths without hype
In the agentic world, documentation becomes 10x more important. Companies that make their products machine-understandable will win distribution through AI.
The Breakdown
META BUYS MOLTBOOK
It started as a Reddit-like experience, built only for AI Bots and Agents, but now Meta has taken an interest, but why?
This is a fascinating next step for Meta who are continuing to invest in specific AI start-ups and automation software. Moltbook has an opportunity to become something a lot larger where created personal AI can interact with each other in a central place.
Despite the interesting experiment, ongoing discussion around the safety and privacy element is ongoing, especially with how much access we give to these personal AI tools, like Openclaw.
ADOBE CEO STEPS DOWN AFTER 18 YEARS
A major end of an era for Adobe, as their new focus on Gen-AI leads to management changes.
Shantanu Narayen announced he's stepping down as Adobe CEO after 18 years at the helm. He took over when Photoshop was still shipped on DVDs and leaves with Firefly generating billions of assets a month.
His parting quote says it all: "The next era of creativity is being written right now — shaped by AI, by new workflows and by entirely new forms of expression."
Adobe didn't say who's next, but whoever it is walks into a company that bet everything on AI-powered creative tools — and has largely won that bet.
NETFLIX BUYS BEN AFFLECK’S AI STUDIO
Seems not all of Hollywood are afraid of AI!
Netflix acquired Ben Affleck's production company Artists Equity for around $600 million.
What makes this more than a typical Hollywood deal: Artists Equity has been building AI into its production pipeline, using generative tools to cut costs and speed up development.
Netflix has been trying to crack AI-assisted filmmaking for years — this gets them a team that's already doing it and a brand name attached. Expect this to accelerate how Netflix develops and greenlights projects going forward.
